About Me

Me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. As well as running my own private practice, I am an accredited CPD trainer and  teach Writing for Wellbeing at Cardiff University’s department for Lifelong Learning.

With a background in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Creative Writing, I often use creative methods, metaphor and visualisation in my work as I feel it helps us express what we sometimes can’t in words. My approach is holistic as I believe that thoughts, feelings, body and mind all affect each other. I am also training as a Reiki Practitioner and Enneagram coach and I deliver workshops in Personal Development.

I believe that a safe, respectful and non-judgmental relationship can help everyone flourish. Whether you are experiencing current difficulty, wish to develop your sense of identity, or make a change in your life or the way you feel, I may be able to help. If you choose to contact me, I offer a space where we work together to explore what might work best for you. I am interested in hearing about you as an individual.
